Yes Flemish speaking people do that sometimes and also with German and English even some of them with the Spanish, Flemish people are from very olds talented with other languages in contrary with the Dutch who have themself the right of their own language which is offically but HIGHLY abusively taken as our language but it is NOT AT ALL !!!!! because the Dutch language has derived from the Flemish...sounds astonishing MAYBE...but we were the first with this language that came from Hertogdom Brabant (3 provinces nowadays) and that was formed from a language that we had completely the same and in common with the Germans, our Flemish has only 600 years ago split from German and it was named Dietz ,AND BESIDES BY THE WAY ...what you explained of the Flemish custom to speak French was NOT true in this movie, the reason here is the old Flemish Cowardness of very low hearted people like this blond woman in the movie who are so low that they are ashamed to ONLY speak a LITTLE language like ours, but she is not aware that she shames only herself with it .....i agree everybody is allowed to speak it but you don`t have to do it to show of because you think your own language is unworthy ! ! ! How could YOU ....be a Belgian ????????......That is completely impossible !!!!!!! There is no one else IN the movie BUT Flemish people and one or two Dutch people, if you don`t see that than you are born far away from west-Europe and you came not so long ago to our country, ,...besides, the woman that is speaking ( only a little ) bit of French is typically from the VERY LOWEST SORT of peoples among the Flemish who typically cowardly think that if one wants to be really SOMEONE...one needs to show that he is able to speak French, because they think Flemish is unworthy to speak ! People who speak like her are themself VERY low and unworthy traitors of their own people !......I GREET YOU SIR AND WISH YOU A VERY PLEASANT DAY AND SUCCES IN BECOMING TO KNOW OUR PEOPLE....
the club is in Hulst Holland and they are coming from brussels, the start is not that bad but quickly becomes a boring movie .... driving 100km just to go in a little back room makes no sense .... they are a mix of dutch and french speaking people but often dutch speaking people in belgium switch to french when they are in mixed environment.
